Tom Cochrane

Over the course of a long and illustrious career spanning almost 50 years, the pride of Lynn Lake, Manitoba, Tom Cochrane has achieved a level of success known to few recording artists.

Starting out as a folk-based singer/songwriter playing the coffeehouses of Toronto`s famed Yorkville scene in the early 70s, Tom joined forces with rock group Red Rider in 1978 as their lead singer and main songwriter. Together as Red Rider and later as Tom Cochrane & Red Rider, they released a total of nine albums with hits, “Lunatic Fringe”, “Victory Day”, “Human Race”, “Boy Inside the Man”, “White Hot” and the chart topper, “Big League.”

Tom launched his solo career with the release of the anthemic hit “Life Is A Highway” from the breakthrough album Mad Mad World. This record sold over one million copies in Canada alone and another six million copies worldwide, giving it certified Diamond Status in Canada and earning him a Grammy nomination in the United States.

Barney Bentall

Barney and his band The Legendary Hearts, recorded and toured extensively in Canada through the late 80s and 90s. They sold over a half a million records, won a Juno and were a staple on Canadian radio.

Barney has put out 16 records. A combination of solo works, albums with his band The Legendary Hearts, two with Bentall, Taylor and Ulrich (BTU) and two with The High Bar Gang (a bluegrass band of friends that has garnered 2 Juno nominations).

Saturday, July 25 at 8 p.m.: Johnny Reid with Morgan Klaiber

Johnny Reid

Over an illustrious career spanning more than two decades, JUNO Award winning singer-songwriter Johnny Reid has captured the hearts of fans and audiences around the world. The critically-acclaimed singer is widely known for his lyrical honesty and musical ability, as demonstrated by an extensive catalogue of hit songs, platinum selling albums, 28 Canadian Country Music Awards, five JUNO Awards and multiple sold-out national arena tours.

On his 11th studio album Love Someone (Universal Music Canada), Reid returns to his country roots. Featuring 14 tracks, the album marks his most intimate and inspired collection.

Morgan Klaiber

She’s authentic. She’s a songstress. She’s a cowgirl. She’s the best kept secret of the west.

Spend a moment with Morgan and you’ll understand mighty quick the difference between those who “get it” and those who act like they do. This ranch-raised cowgirl hails from the unforgiving plains of Southern Alberta and is equal parts rancher and entertainer. She is just as comfortable on horseback working cattle on the family’s heritage land as she is performing on some of Canada’s biggest stages. She truly gets the value of hard work and brings that work ethic learned on the ranch to her fresh new approach in the music business.
